These days will be dedicated to preparing for your expedition. The team will finalize permits, visas, and logistics while ensuring your gear is ready for the journey. You’ll also have the opportunity to explore Kathmandu’s UNESCO World Heritage Sites, including Swayambhunath, Pashupatinath, and Boudhanath.

Begin the journey with a scenic drive from Kathmandu to the Nepal-China border at Kerung. Upon arrival, complete the immigration formalities and cross into Tibet. From there, continue the drive to Kyirong, a serene town surrounded by lush greenery and mountain views. Check into your accommodation and take some time to relax and acclimatize to the increasing altitude.

Spend the day exploring the picturesque surroundings of Kyirong while allowing your body to adjust to the higher altitude. Take a leisurely walk through the area to enjoy the views and immerse yourself in the local culture. Rest well to prepare for the upcoming days.

Today, you’ll travel through stunning Tibetan landscapes as you head toward Saga. The journey offers breathtaking views of snow-capped peaks, vast plains, and serene rivers. Upon arrival in Saga, settle into your accommodation and rest for the night.

Continue your drive to the sacred Lake Mansarovar, passing through high-altitude terrain with spectacular Himalayan vistas. On reaching the lake, you’ll witness its serene beauty, surrounded by spiritual significance. Spend the evening soaking in the peaceful atmosphere.

Take the day to explore the pristine shores of Lake Mansarovar, considered holy by Hindus and Buddhists. Participate in a spiritual ritual or simply enjoy the tranquil surroundings. This day also helps with further acclimatization for the trek ahead.

A short drive will take you to Darchen, the starting point of the Kailash trek. On arrival, check into your accommodation and prepare for the upcoming trek. Use the rest of the day to relax and adjust to the altitude.

Begin your trek from Darchen, passing Yam Dwar, a gateway of spiritual significance. The trail offers stunning views of Mount Kailash as you make your way to Deraphuk. Upon arrival, rest and prepare for the next day’s challenging journey.

This is the most challenging day of the trek as you cross the Dolma La Pass, the highest point of the journey. Descend toward Gauri Kund, a sacred lake, and continue trekking to Zuthul-phuk. Rest and recover upon arrival at the campsite.

Complete the final stretch of the Kailash trek as you return to Darchen. Afterward, drive back to Saga, retracing your route through the breathtaking Tibetan Plateau. Check into your accommodation and relax after a long day.

Begin the day with a drive back to Kyirong, retracing the scenic Tibetan Plateau. At the Nepal-China border, complete the immigration formalities before crossing into Nepal. From the border, continue your journey to Kerung, where you’ll settle into your accommodation and relax after the day’s travels.

Embark on the final leg of your journey with a scenic drive back to Kathmandu. Upon arrival, check into your hotel and spend the rest of the day at leisure, reflecting on your incredible adventure or exploring the city one last time.

On your final day, the team will assist you with your departure arrangements. You’ll be transferred to Tribhuvan International Airport for your onward flight, taking with you unforgettable memories of this extraordinary journey.
