Itinerary
Upon arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, a representative will assist you with your transfer to the hotel. Relax or explore the vibrant city of Kathmandu in your free time.
Take the day to rest and prepare for the trek ahead. Attend a briefing session in the evening where you’ll get the necessary details about the trek and safety instructions.
Drive from Kathmandu to Machha Khola via Arughat and Soti Khola. The drive takes approximately 7-8 hours and passes through scenic mountain roads with river views.
Begin the trek with a walk along the Budhi Gandaki River. Cross several suspension bridges, pass through small villages, and reach the village of Jagat for an overnight stay.
Trek through lush forests and terraced fields, passing local villages along the way. Enjoy the tranquil surroundings and reach Nyak, a small village that provides an excellent rest point.
The trek takes you through dense forests with oak and rhododendron trees. Cross suspension bridges, climb gradually, and arrive at Ghap for the night.
Continue your trek through a beautiful alpine forest. The path becomes steeper as you approach the village of Lho, where you can enjoy views of the surrounding mountains.
After passing the village of Lho, trek further through beautiful valleys and arrive at Samagaon, a village at the base of Mount Manaslu. The area offers stunning views of the surrounding peaks.
Spend the day at Samagaon to acclimatize to the altitude. You can explore the area, visit the Pungyen Monastery, or take a short hike for panoramic mountain views.
Trek to the village of Samdo, crossing rivers and trekking through alpine pastures. The village offers an incredible view of the surrounding peaks and is a great place for rest and acclimatization.
Take another rest day at Samdo for better acclimatization. Explore the village, interact with the locals, or take a short hike to a viewpoint for panoramic mountain views.
The trek today takes you towards Larkya Phedi, the base camp for the Larkya Peak climb. This is a challenging section of the trek, and you’ll be walking on rugged terrain.
Continue to the Larkya Glacier before reaching Dharmshala, where you’ll rest for the night. Enjoy the majestic views of the Larkya Glacier.
These days are dedicated to climbing Larkya Peak. You will attempt the summit of Sano Larkya first, and for those ready, Thulo Larkya Peak will be attempted. The climb requires high-altitude climbing experience.
After the climb, descend back to Bimtang, a beautiful village with spectacular views of snow-capped peaks surrounding the valley.
The descent continues through beautiful landscapes and forests. Arrive at the village of Tilije, where you can relax and enjoy the serene atmosphere.
Retrace your steps through lush forests and picturesque villages, heading back to Jagat.
Continue descending, passing through traditional villages, and reach Bhulbhule.
Drive back to Kathmandu from Bhulbhule, passing through the scenic mountain roads. Once in Kathmandu, transfer to your hotel for rest.
Transfer to Tribhuvan International Airport for your departure flight, concluding your adventurous trek.

- Any meals in Kathmandu except for welcome dinner.
- Personal expenses such as telephone, laundry, bottled water, bar bills, etc.
- Personal trekking gear (Available on hire).
- Personal tips for guide and local staffs.
- Travel insurance that covers helicopter evacuation, medical expenses and trip cancellation. (We recommend that you get this done at your hometown and submit us a copy of the same upon arrival - so that we are prepared should this be necessary).
- Any other expenses or charges that are not mentioned in the “cost includes” list.
