Annapurna Panorama Trek, also known as Ghandruk Poonhill Trek is an easy and colorful short trek into the Annapurna region. Annapurna Panorama Trek features walking through lush rhododendron forests on flagstone steps with the never-ending view of the Annapurna massif and Machhapuchhre (6993m). The trek also features picturesque Gurung villages sitting beautifully in the lap of the Annapurna massif allowing the trekkers to look into the Gurung culture, tradition, and lifestyle.

Annapurna Panorama Trek starts with a flight from Kathmandu to Pokhara. A comfortable drive from Pokhara to Tikhedhunga via several small villages gives you a glimpse of life in the hills. The trek takes you to the village of Ghorepani from where you head to the ultimate destination of this trek, Poonhill. Poonhill hosts a stunning view of Annapurna and Dhaulagiri massifs along with Machhapuchhre (6993m) made even more enticing with the rays of the rising sun touching the peaks. Later, the trek reaches the largest Gurung village in the Annapurna region, Ghandruk. You will enjoy walking with remarkable mountain scenery through delightful villages inhabited by the Gurung and Magar ethnics and through dense rhododendron forests full of birds and deep sub-tropical gorges, all set below the Annapurna massif and Machhapuchhre (6993m) dominating the skyline. Day 1: Arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport

Day 2: Fly to Pokhara and drive to Tikhedhunga

Day 3: Tikhedunga to Ghorepani

Day 1
Day 1: Arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport

Welcome to Nepal. Our representatives will be waiting for you at the arrival section of Tribhuvan International Airport. You will then be picked and transferred to the hotel. Overnight at the hotel in Kathmandu.

Day 2
Day 2: Kathmandu to Pokhara (30-minute flight) and drive to Tikhedhunga

We take an early morning flight 25-minute to Pokhara. As we fly, we can see the magnificent Himalayas such as the Annapurna massif and Machhapuchhre (6993m). Upon arrival in Pokhara, we will get on our private jeep and drive towards Tikhedhunga. We start to feel the fresh air as we drive through beautiful villages and forests with the never-ending sight of Machhapuchhre (6993m) and Annapurna South (7219m). Overnight in Tikhedhunga.

Day 3
Day 3: Tikhedunga to Ghorepani (6-hour trek)

We leave Tikhedhunga and ascend on a trail that leads us to the Magar village of Ulleri.

Later, we pass by oak and rhododendron forests until Banthanti and following Bhurungi Khola upstream we reach Nangethanti. After an hour walk on flagstone steps from Nangethanti, we reach Ghorepani. Ghorepani is a beautiful Gurung village and home to the largest rhododendron forest of Nepal. An amazing vista of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri massifs along with Machhapuchhre (6993m) and other snow-capped mountains can be observed from Ghorepani.

Day 4
Day 4: Ghorepani to Tadapani (5-hour trek)

We start our hike to Poon Hill early in the morning to experience sunrise over the Himalayas like Annapurna massif, Dhaulagiri massif, Machhapuchhre (6993m), Nilgiri (7040m), and others. The view is even more enchanting during the spring when the rhododendrons are in full bloom filling up the hill in colors. After relishing the view for some time, we then return to Ghorepani and start descending to Tadapani via Deurali Pass (3090m). Walking through rhododendron forests with a continuous view of the Annapurna Himalaya, we reach Ban Thanti before arriving in Tadapani. Overnight at guesthouse.

Day 5
Day 5: Tadapani to Ghandruk (4-hour trek)

We walk on the stone steps through a thick rhododendron forest to reach the picturesque village of Ghandruk. Ghandruk is a Gurung settlement full of houses and alleys made of stones. In Ghandruk, we can visit the Gurung Culture Museum and try on the traditional Gurung attire as well. Breath-taking vista of Annapurna South (7219m) and Machhapuchhre (6993m) can be observed from anywhere in Ghandruk. Overnight at guesthouse.

Day 6
Day 6: Ghandruk to Pokhara via Nayapul

Leaving Ghandruk, we descend on stone steps enjoying the view of lush green hills to reach Nayapul. Walking alongside Modi Khola, we reach several small settlements like Kimche, Syauli Bazaar, and Birethanti, on our way to Nayapul. We then drive back to Pokhara from Nayapul. You can spend the evening enjoying live music and different cuisines in the restaurants in Lakeside, Pokhara. Overnight at a hotel in Pokhara.

Day 7
Day 7: Pokhara to Kathmandu (30-minute flight)

We leave Pokhara and drive back to Kathmandu via Prithvi Highway. On the way, we get pleasurable sight of mountains, rivers, villages, terraced farms, lush hills, and so on. Upon arrival in Kathmandu, you will be dropped at your hotel. You can either rest or explore the bustling streets of Thamel. Overnight at the hotel in Kathmandu.

Day 8
Day 8: Final Departure

Farewell day! We will drop you at the airport 3 hours prior to the flight time.
